Larry Luttrell achieved sobriety in 1988 in a structured recovery home based on the principles of the 12-steps. Some of the structure was already in place, but was further developed and implemented by the owner, Perry Petaccia and myself after I became a manager in 1990. We tightened and polished it up and made it a working part of the house that would encourage, promote and inspire the residents to grow and change; to face reality and develop strong 12-step programs.
